Why do people act surprised at this.

Even the reviewer, implying he's homophobic. These people do not properly listen to or understand what he says, his implications or his intent. Quite obviously.

It's been obvious from DAY ONE what he's been doing. Even when I was ten years fucking old. It's playground tactics. I AM WHATEVER YOU SAY I AM. That entire MMLP album was him embodying every criticism and perceived idea and totally embracing it.

He became homophobic, he became an asshole, he became a misogynist. He totally embodied and emphasized every single perception to the nth degree and then some. But he makes it SO obvious what he's doing throughout. I saw one guy in slant call the "homophobic? Na you're just heterophobic" a 'childish' retort. Again, the irony in how he received that is ridiculous.

These people are so fucking stupid. They shouldn't be listening to his music let alone criticizing it. Or at least not with such staggering arrogance considering they clearly do not get it at all. Anybody who thinks Eminem is or ever was homophobic is a moron.

I love how people think Criminal is a serious song when, for me, it's probably his best funny song and people like GLAAD take it seriously. Even in the begining of the song Em pretty much says "I dont believe what I say", IN THE SAME FUCKING SONG as the lines and yet people still don't get it. Incredible.
