In all seriousness, do you think the big guy's real?

I was skeptical, but, in my ever-growing spare time, i checked out a national geographic documentary on youtube, along with some debates online, and the evidence for his existence kinda out-weighs the evidence disproving his existence >.>

Common argument, and i'm not acting like i have irrefutable proof, but the counter-arguments to that are usually: There's a BUNCH of bears in the forests, and bear skeletons aren't exactly common either...also, if we're using the dead body argument, wouldn't that be the case for the 18, 225 new species that were discovered in 2008? (http://news.mongabay.com/2010/0527-hance_new_species.html) albeit, only 41 of those were mammals...what about this big motherfucker that was discovered this year? http://news.discovery.com/animals/giant-monitor-lizard.html

New species are discovered all the time, and many take so long to find because they are very elusive...

Yeah but wern't the mamals small rodents and that lizerd is huge yet wasn't the biggest reason that no one has found it till recently because they wern't really looking for it yet I think quiete a bit of poeple are searching for big foot and for no defenative evidance of its existance is strange

Well, we do have hair that belongs to something, and multiple samples of it...it can't be proved that it's bigfoot, but when the DNA was compared to that of known local forest and mountain animals, nothing matched in the slightest, but it did show similarities to primates, human and non-human, but it didn't match exactly to any of them, meaning it IS a new species of some sort, but it can't be proven that it's bigfoot...and yes, there are people searching for bigfoot, hence the photos and lone video that everyone dismisses as a fraud, for whatever reason...that video i linked to in the first post goes into extensive detail examing that video from the 50's...

Uhhh..nope...that literally never happens...might wanna watch a bit closer/longer...there's people that tried to claim they were involved in the video in order to profit but they can't provide a "matching" costume and can't replicate the walk in the video...a later part of that documentary digs deep into that film from the 50's and proves that it's pretty much impossible for the bigfoot seen on film to be a man in a costume, as the man would need to be 7' 8"...an EXTREMELY rare height among humans...

I think that the evidence he doesn't exist outweighs the evidence he does. I'm curious to see what the conclusion is after they fully analyze the film. Other than that, I believe it's possible and hoping there is a big foot, cause that's badass. I think the problem is no hard evidence, the hair thing fits, but doesn't say it's 100% from big foot. I think the problem is the whole loch ness thing, when that picture came up as fake, but other than that I still weigh towards both being real. If I find anything else from the video i'll post it. Good topic

That second one was recorded by a Ron Moorehead...among the "Bigfoot enthusiasts" out there, it's one of the most interesting vocalizations ever recorded, not that it's total proof of anything because it isn't a video recording, and could entirely be fake, but the man claims it's genuine, and stands by that...it features what some people claim to be "bigfoot speach" which sounds like samurai talk or somethin, you'll notice it...that sounds like a stretch to me, saying the bigfeet can talk but...well, shit, i dunno what he recorded on that then lol
