But i think on the itunes charts a preorder cant be number 1 because em was 2 behind glee the whole time up until thank me later came out then he stayed 2 and glee moved to three so possibly em could be beating drake in sales right now when its not even out yet :y:

well knw people on here are pretty harsh on people with theorys so thats why i threw it in the title it was just something i wanted to discuss but didnt know where to put it

iTunes account for about 10-15% of the total album sales in the US, and Amazon's percentage is very low (I think last year Beatles made a new Amazon.com record, having over 10.000 copies pre-ordered). Em might've had about 30.000-40.000 pre-orded from the two combined (up til today), and that won't make him #1 next week. That said, the "Amazon/iTunes charts" are quite useful when estimating how well an album is doing in general, but when it comes to predicting sales, it's of no use I'm afraid.

honestly though i thought the same thing myself. like how could recovery just conveniently jump to #2 after TML's available when the pre-order came after glee the whole time. it seemed like a set up on itunes's part.

well i'm prolly reading too much into it like you did.
