I personally thought Recovery was so much more on point than Relapse, and having dealt and battled with similar demons that he's facing and working through, I can appreciate how he conveyed all of his emotions into the CD and takes you on a journey of how his experiences have been since before/after Relapse.. It's a stepping stone for him, the content/concepts are new to me coming from his perspective and I just really love it for what it is... but my favorite album will always be The Eminem Show.

Critics man. Critics never have anything nice to say.

Some of these are really dumb. These guys don't LISTEN to the album, they play it as if it is noise. Most hip-hop you can bump without listening to. You listen for the beat and hook and a flow to make you nod your head. Eminem, you have to really pay attention to get it. Critics don't get it.

No biggie, they will all be shown up.

Slant, Pitchfork and sputnik music always give his shit negative reviews, never fails, thats why there reviews popped up first, probably played thru it once just so they could quote a few things to complain about..............I'll wait for the credible Magazines to review it(Rolling stone, Spin, XXL, Vibe, etc etc), you know the magazines who actually arent gonna hate it just because eminems name is on it

If you took Recovery, word for word, and had somebody else record it, Pitchfork would give it a perfect score

Because the real reviewers will actually give it some real listens, and come out with something thoughtful. Not just breeze through the album once and try to make a name for themselves by bashing it.

Because it's Eminem.

At least these fags are consistent though. I like how much praise Relapse was getting on here for its lyrical content, and now that Recovery is out and Em has declared his prior album "ehhh" it is suddenly a disappointing piece of shit that is usually only referred to to point out how much it sucks compared to Recovery.
Caution to the wind, complete freedom. Look at these rappers, how I treat 'em, so why the fuck would I join 'em when I beat 'em?
