I think WTP and So Bad are good songs for what they are (silly, Slim Shady stuff). I'd rate it as high as stuff like TRSS and Superman.

But Em needs to decide if he wants to be a comedian or a rapper. Part of the reason he isn't viewed as he wants to be viewed among hip hop fans is his content. That's why relapse sucked. What other top rapper would make "Insane?"

This album would be perfect w/o WTP, So Bad, Cold Wind Blows, and less singing and yelling.

THe album should've opened w/ Talking 2 Myself.

After seven albums, Eminem is so far ahead of the pack he only has himself to compete with. Even by that measurement, he's winning.

Recovery isn't doing too bad on metacritic (which usually get's an average of other reviews)... here's a perspective of what's going on, expect it to stabilize like a week or two from now.

The Marshall Marthers LP: Critics Review = 79% (20 critic reviews), User Rating = 9.3 (242 votes)
The Eminem Show: Critics Review = 75% (20 critic reviews), User Rating = 9.0 (144 votes)
Encore: Critics Review = 64% (24 critic reviews), User Rating = 7.0 (218 votes)
Relapse: Critics Review = 59% (27 critic reviews), User Rating = 8.0 (214 votes)
Recovery: Critics Review = 63% (14 critic reviews), User Rating = 9.2 (261 votes)

as you can see, the "general population" think Recovery is at the same level as MMLP and TES, and even though the Critics have a low number, remember it's just 14 reviews. by the time he reaches 20, i think he'll be have 70+%...which is good as you can see
