Redman / Shady Situation?

For those who don't know, Redman said late last year he would leave DEF JAM now and go over to Shady Records as they're still doing hip-hop...

If you go to around 1.50 in that video you'll hear him speak on it. He also told Em to hit him up for a record. That would be awesome as so far we've only had "Off the Wall".

Has there been any update as far as anybody knows to this situation... I had a look but can't find anything. I don't understand why Em hasn't publicly reached out more... Maybe they've spoke in private I don't know.

But Em is a huge Redman fan, even name-checks him as his #1 in "Till I Collapse" and his influence is obvious throughout Em's music / style. That would be a great move for Shady, Redman would fit right in and they could make some serious hip-hop together before they're both done.

Em signed bums like Ca$his from him sending a demo to their building but doesn't seem too bothered about signing a legend like Red. Odd.

He's a guy who loves to bring up definitions..

A bum is someone who is homeless (or) leeches off others (or) has a poor appearence.

Cashis makes good music, he's not always lyrical, but he makes good MUSIC..

The guy didn't come off the street, he's been getting buzz for a while, has got on tracks with some pretty big names, even though his album will get hated on regardless of whether it's on the same level as 'Ms Jenkins'.. Because some on here don't like anyone getting reginition or getting close to their precious Em lol

What's not easy? I pointed out that he wasn't talking about money, which is what you said. There's no digging your way out of that. Whether you were hinting at something else or not is your own problem.
