Not that there needs to be a sequel anyway.

He should definitely do more movies, he'd make a great character actor but 8 Mile is done and dusted, fuck re-visiting it.

Listen Larry David, if he came out with a sequal you would jizz

No actually I wouldn't. If he went ahead with a new project, playing a character of some type, something reputable with an exciting director, I would jizz.

But if I saw he was doing an 8 Mile sequel I would do this - :facepalm

classic? come on guys, that movie is far from being a classic. Other than the rap battles, i didn't find anything in it extraordinary. so yeah, a sequel wouldn't hurt.

lol why does he keep saying this?

You do realise that being butthurt is an insult right, and not another way to say you're pissed off? :y:

As for the idea...no. Doubt he could recapture it if he did even try and act it. Plus, considering Recovery's theme, i would assume he wouldn't really be too keen to revisit it so soon.

Meh.

I like the idea of having Em back in movies, but not really this idea. A second part would feel like a cash in on the first one and it would feel a bit whiny to me. Eminem is more positive these days and I'd like to see him in a more positive roll. A depressing story that we all know but love would just feel like "LOOK AT ME MY LIFE SUCKS". I think we have had enough of that our of Em.

If it did happen (which it won't) I would go see it though. I like Eminem and just the idea of him to go see it. I'm up for a movie but just for something different.

8 Mile is to perfect to have a sequel but it is a good idea for a script and I could see Em playing that part. :y:

Eeeeh, no. 8 Mile is great just the way it is. Ending is great. No big time producers with loads of money, no fame, just a tallented MC on his way back to work to earn money for studio time.
