This is direct result of the social structure. Some people that are of lower social structure are learning the same tricks that major firms use. And smaller firms pt it to use. It also means a goodbie to freedome, and means u are gonna become a product. Logic will also prove so. I mean look at how the corparations do buissness, its obvious that they ( the higher social structure ) are just gonna dominate sooner or later.
U think its ur choice. But think wat do u have to choose from. Its all buttermilk-chocolate-bars and ham and cheese sandwitches. The money that they spend producing mcdonalds could be used to build sports utilities in backyards (FREEEEE FOR PEOPLE) were i live there was a stadium in every block, one for hockey another for football and an enourmous playground, but ofcourse after USSR colapsed they are building kiosks and parking lots in there places.
No matter how much freedome u think u have, u dont. We are addicted to things that marketers want us to be addicted to and the things that we are told are "cool", infact the the way the society is now built, u will feel insignificant without some things that arent exactly nessesary.

Sorry to bring back old posts but i've gotta comment on this.
Being able to sue other people and companies for millions of dollars has nothing to do with the social structure, it has to do with the law. It's not just lower income people who sue. People sue because the law gives them grounds to do so and rewards them for their greed. And the US is the only place in the world that I know of that has such stupid laws that allows people to sue other people for millions because they're downright stupid themselves. Personally I really wouldn't like to live in a country where I'd risk getting sued every time I stepped out of the door - or maybe I wouldn't even have to do that, because my neighbour might come up with a lawsuit against me for some kind of made-up negligence on my part. He wouldn't even have to come up with it himself, there are plenty of lawyers who specialise in that. So what the US needs is a change in legislation stating that people are always obliged to use sound judgement e.g. when handling goods.U think its ur choice. But think wat do u have to choose from. Its all buttermilk-chocolate-bars and ham and cheese sandwitches. Concerning choices people could choose NOT to pick up the buttermilk-chocolate-bar etc. - maybe they could even choose to go the supermarket and buy groceries to cook their own foodNow that would really be a revolution

People are free to choose, marketers don't force you to buy stuff - they do their best to tempt you, and it's your own responsibility to resist that temptation. People make the choice to put a cigarette into their mouths or not, eat 10 hamburgers and drink 4 gallons of coke. And if they have to suffer the consequences, tough luck.
