Doesn't make any sense.

I'd bet that Em has had a lot more worldwide #1 albums than Jay too.

Jay-Z is about 40 million albums behind Eminem's total. (worldwide sales)

Given that fact, I'd be quite embarrassed to say I have more albums that debuted at #1.

I like how they ignore Relapse, which sold more than Blueprint 3. They act like BP3 was the highest selling hiphop CD when it was really #2 to Relapse

Jay's put out 10 major solo albums.

Em's put out 6 major solo albums.

Jay's been in the mainstream 14 years.

Em's been in the mainstream 11 years.

---

Jay's sold 40 million.

Em's sold 80 million.

Jay has (at best) 3 classics out of 10.

Em has (at best) 4 classics out of 6.

= Em wins.

Fuck the sales, just look at the quality output, percentage wise. Em's only truly missed the mark once (Encore) and not hit the classic spot with Relapse, which was still good. Where as Jay dropped a classic then another four albums until he hit another. Em did three in a row, all building upon the last.

Jay didn't grow in that fashion and keep improving, formally and artistically that way. As a true artist should. Em's first three are mammoth classics and Recovery will probably go down as a classic too.

Then simply compare the classics they've made. None of Jay's classics touch Em's. SSLP, MMLP and TES wipe the floor with his entire discography back to front. He's also nowhere near the lyricist or creative mind that Em is. Where's his groundbreaking songs, he didn't control a generation like Em did. Like fucking Hitler. He's just been there for bursts.

not to mention when they count jay's 11 # 1's they left out at HE ALSO had TWO collabs that count for that number. but then part of his argument is how Eminem is sooo far behind. when in reality he is only 2 down from that number.(11 jay-9 Em)
