There's a certain mystique when I speak, that you notice that it's sorta unique,
cos you know it's me, my poetry's deep, and I'm still matic the way I flow to this beat, you can't sit still, it's like tryin to smoke crack and go to sleep, I'm strapped

PROOF RIP..

Are u just a fan of Eminem or is it really hip hop u fell in love with?

Well, i think i wouldt listen to it but not as much as now, actually Eminem is one of the first rappers i heard of, if there was no Eminem, i probobly continue listening to: 'Grunge' 'Hardcore Rock' and 'House'.
But yhea thanks to Eminem i listen to other rappers...

And the reason for that is: Hip hop is just not as popular in my country as it is in America.... example: 'Trick Trick's cd still isn't in stores here...

totally agree since i'm from the same country :p

Damn straight I'd be listening to hip hop without Eminem...I mean my first songs I heard were Guine Juice and Big Butts....I really liked those even though they were old school....I mean Em did boost how I listened to hip hop...he opened my eyes and shit...but I mean there's other great artists..twice as better even triple as better then Em...You can't even put their name in the same sentence as him.....So..I'd have to say Tupac and Biggie and Snoop is what led me to hip hop..damn...

yep i would. when i first started to listen to rap at the time there were lots of rap songs being played on the radio (round 2000) i liked them all so i bought the albums and stuff and that included eminem. at that time i never said i'm an eminem fan, i just wanted to listen to all different rappers and stuff. but now i feel like i know most rappers and stuff and i can give better opinion of who i like and who i support. i listen to lots of rappers but i like to support shady records :D

The reason some of you people say no is cause you're white.. No offense but that's why you see white people listening to rap all the time now cause of Em so I guess Em did spread Hip around races.. Everyone's trying to rap but still it's not like Em started Hip Hop and Rap like I said i'd still be listening to it wether or not

Nick I don't understand the math here....Em came out when??? In or around 1999 was when the Slim Shady LP was in stores...so your mother allowed you to listen to that type of music when or earlier then you were 8??? I'm confused on that statement....I didn't start listening to hip hop and all of that all the time until I was 11 or 12...which means 2001 or 2002....so I'm confused... :confusion:   :sweating:
