His maturity in Recovery by far exceeds TES. In TES there was too much whining & bitching (still great album though)

Whines on all his albums. More so on TES, admittely, but when that was released it was completely different to what he'd done before.

Too many corny punchlines on Recovery, he focuses too much on the punchlines to the actaul writing, and his delivery is too repetitive.

For 11 years into his career and after the horrow that was NA, it definitely suprised me though, in a good way.

not saying he didn't whine at all in Recovery but I can totally see his maturity in a new level, instead of blaming people around for everything like a little kid he actually acknowledged & deal with the problems.

I thought the delivery is great, although I was annoyed at his unnecessary loud voice in some tracks. The punchlines could be better but again that would make the album perfect :sweating:

And I like Not Afraid still :y:
