The OP is referring to a recent interview with Em, maybe in Vibe if I remember right. Em talks about the song "Talkin' 2 Myself" and said that the line (given here in post) was said to by him by his friend.

I'm not sure he said Mr. Porter exactly but it was obvious that it was probably him.

So the actual line is a paraphrasing of something he said about Encore and Relapse I think. And OP is saying it's cool how he gave him credit for it when he didn't need to. I agree.

Cause I couldn;t remember where em said this, but I knew he did. And it wasn't like he gave him credit for a punchline/rhyme or anything, just that he said something just like this, so he used it, and it was cool of em to give him the props
