During the soviet years, not only did education become priority but also sports and art. it was everything a great nation should be. Population rizen, birth rates rizen, russia was rebuilt quickly, manufacturing efficency rizen by 20% people stopped starving after the war. Whole cities were built under one incredible design ( like my city "sochi"), build damns instead of supermarets... i can go on for ever. Stalin is a tough leader, like a tough father, there was a certain punishment, but people who risked knew the price. Not tomention the fact that socialism greatly raized the percentage of literate people.

As for the millions claimed - most of them are counted from the war victims, wich america turned into victims of stalin. Stalin didnt hate the jews as some say, coz even Lenin was partly a jew.

Millions my ass, some people are just sooo naive. Capitalism kills millions every year, but people are too selfcentered on their own profit to realize that.

Socialism is not only a war against materialism, but it is a against "war for peace" - wich usually turns out to be war for profit.

U know this life aint as easy as u think it is. The ones that "suffered" were rich bastards that were exploiting the poor in the earlier days.

Have u ever considered looking at it from a workers point of view? no u probably havent.

Lets say u grow up in an extremely poor family, and u really would love the oportunity that a rich suburban kid, has but does not use. Comunism gives praise to common less weatlthy folk, wich were many at times of war and hunger. The regime that was proclaimed as "evil" is also the salvator, it saved lives in WW2 and saved lives of many others.

I realise for some it was hard to deal, but puting these laws to work made it happen. How ever, being sent to gulaks doesnt mean ur gonna be killed.
Nobody was sent for nothing, everybody knew wat they were facing. with time to pass, and people that once owned huge houses and servants got over it and the new generation wasnt dogged out as the ones before. I see it merely as a civil war, as all civil wars, there were casualties, just like civil wars and revolts in other countries. The cold war stages?people were paranoid, propoganda is a weapon and as this kind of regime bears a moral standarts, it was very much neccessary to opress the western propoganda.

Seems to be a common miscount for anti-comunists. Germans were ruthless and very willing to attack, Stalins "no retreat" law saved europe, and russia, it shows courage and a lift of moral spirit. Russia's army being almost incapable to compete, did very well that and more. That is not shamefull, at the time it was the hardest and perhaps the most vital decision, no matter how, cruel it was.

How is the great loss of crop and vegetation, due to the fearsome colds russia experiences ocationally, being the coldest populated continent on the planet, the fault of the regime? Freedom? people have a broad knowledge of wat socialism is, and that it actually gives u oportunities to stack wealth, ofcourse however takin to count "bourgoise" prevention. No one stopped u from becoming an architect for exaple, no, not even Stalin. Anti comunism being punished is nessesary measure, coz greed is much greater than patriotism, and its wat comunism was made to get rid of in the first place, "slavery" and an classicism.

These days so called country "leaders" aint doing shit, they do everything for benefit of corporations, a selected few of the actuall nuber of people. instead of everybody, but the whole glamour and the invention of TV doesnt show the people were this money the corporations are getting from; Cocaine fiends and war politics. There is no reason why Stalin could have not been able to deal with the western countries, infact they could peacefully coexist. The fact that america refused to recieve help against the germans in some places, ticked Stalin off, and and the that soviets werent warned about an atomic bomb to be droped, just completely changed the situation, both sides were paranoid.
As time passed new rules and regulations were passed, if not for the WW2 possibility tension, the money spent on the space race and arms build up, people would be significantly richer, and the minimum standart higher( and unlike with capitalism it would have been put to work.)
