wat no. Relapse barely crossed 1mili last year, so that made 400k ww. Recovery made 350k ww apparently, aside from US & Canada's huge increase (platinum in Canada in 1 week), all other countries decreased. But it's ok, I expect them to increase again when he release more singles, videos..

Even though the album sales are almost the same as Relapse's, Recovery are selling tons of singles too, something Relapse didn't do. I'd say Recovery is more of a commericial sucess than Relapse.

More of a commericial sucess than Relapse has Recovery because on album is Rihanna, Pink and Lil Wayne therefore the album sold more.

that's like stating the obvious :smoking: I don't get what's the obsession with hip-hop fans & first week sale, you guys act like this is more important than overall sale or something :confusion: Relapse only had strong first week sale, after that it fell like a rock because it had nothing else to offer to the charts (no singles, radio plays...) while Recovery's singles will keep it on chart for a long time. Also, you guys know Eminem only has 3 albums sold over 1 million first week right? :coffee: (and they're not MMLP or TES)

he needs to release another video :/ in US video may not be affective but in other countries people still watch MTV and a video would boost the sale more.

^ I don't think there's a point to release another video right now if Not Afraid gets 1 million new views per day. The album is selling a lot. Some factor (whether it's the overall quality of the CD or the popularity of the singles) is already boosting the sale a lot. It's not like MTV is huge outside of US. Most people that watch MTV are interested in reality shows. There's no point to wait for a video to show up on TV if you can watch it online whenever you want.

I think it would be different if NA wasn't able to do the job and LTWYL was struggling but the longevity should be the main priority now. If Eminem uses all of his cards before the end of summer, later he won't have enough material to use for promo.
