but here's the thing though Alaine, you're talking all this shit about how Relapse also did great first week just like REcovery did...but you seem to never mention the fact that LTWYL will be top 10 on iTunes and top 10 on radio for months, so theres your hit single...while Relapse had Beautiful flop after release

yeah Recovery is gonna have great longevity, I knew it since the first time I heard the album, LTWYL is already shaping to be big & there are some potential singles on the album too. But we were talking about Relapse for the last few pages though.

underground rappers are not going to sell anyway. But Eminem is a veteran, a big name in hip-hop, he has a pride of a veteran, he also has old enemies that waiting for him to fall, not to mentions tons of haters. Imagine if he sold like 100k first week or less than Drake, people would comment to no end that he's over. His pride would be scattered --> no more music & potentially relapse again

BTW: Looks like LTWYL is still getting about 1/4 the airplay as Katy Perry, and I can't imagine the iTunes surpassing California Girls again, so... guess we have to live with a number 2 Oh well, I think if it all came out together, the official release and the video, it would have been a sure fire number 1.

I guess they are concentrating on album sales rather than single sales. The official release of LTWYL and the delayed video release will give some serious longevity to Recovery. No Love will be a whole other campaign, and they can surely pick out at least one other single to keep it alive. Triple Platinum by June 2011, I guarantee it.

Oh don't get me wrong, I like the track but as far as radio play goes, and charts, the mass appeal is not as high as songs like "California Girls". Which is mind blowing because... Well.. Just listen to California Girls... It's rediculous.

The masses are a bunch of brain dead sheep and teenage girls.. LTWYL is such a better quality song than California girls, in every aspect.
