Also, I agree that probably some 1999-2003 songs he made are good and just don't go with his image anymore. He couldn't put out another Brain Damage or Way I Am in this day and age. But I figure that, as an artist, you would want your fans to get your best shit. So whatever good songs, hooks, or beats he didn't use, most likely came out anyhow later on. Who's to say some of the punchlines and hooks on his recent songs didn't come from his journal from way back when, since he states that he usually writes down his lyrics and keeps them.

Good point, but when he says he made around 100 songs for Recovery I don't think he literally meant complete songs, mastered, 2-4 verses, hook and all. Because if he really did have songs up to par as him album songs, why would he, especially during the downturn of his career, Encore-Relapse, put out songs like Taking My Ball when he knew his fans would prefer a hypothetically existing Sing For The Moment pt 2 or something like that.

Yeah maybe he didn't fully complete the songs, hopefully one day we'll find out. I think Taking My Ball and probably most of the Refill disk was made before he found out that everyone was hating on the accent and subject matter, I seem to remember him saying the Refill tracks where songs he didn't want to go to waste because he changed direction for the album, at the time I was pretty sure the Refill disk was the "Best of Relapse 2".

I heard that No Apologies, released in 2006, was an unreleased joint from the MMLP era(Dont know if its true or not)

Whatever the case may be, whatever time period the songs were recorded during will clue you in to how they sound......Theres a song called "Demon Inside me" that leaked a few years ago that was unreleased from the SSLP, and its awesome..........On the other hand, those joints with Stat Quo that leaked, "Atlanta On Fire" and "Classic Shit" were mediocre.........All depends when they were made

Ahh, didnt know that..........Even so though that still kinda validates the point I was making, If that song was Unreleased from TES show album, one of his best albums, and that song is good, he probably has some other stuff from that period laying around thats dope

^ It wasn't unreleased from any album, he just cobbled together the verses from freestyles (except for the third one) so he'd have an extra solo song for the Re-Up. You can tell from his voice it was recorded in that 2006 era. But yeah, he almost certainly has good unreleased shit from those times.

Stimulate was pretty awesome and that was unreleased, im pretty sure he has some dope unreleased material out there. Some probably suck, but theres bound to be a few gems out there
