Relapse is no Encore

IMO Encore > Relapse. I didn't like relapse that much. I really think Encore is underrated
Big weenie & My 1st single are the only horrible songs on encore but the rest are amazing. you all just hating on Encore

Just listen to Mosh and Like Toy Solders....These two alone beat all the songs in Relapse.

maybe they just cannot be compared. Everything has to be taken for what it is. There is not a song as serious as Mosh or Like Toy Soldiers on Relapse (Beautiful is just too corny), so it's difficult to use that example. They are not his 2 best albums, we all know that, and they both feature some of Eminem's worst material ever. They are still good albums though.

The downtalking of Relapse was one the most annoying things on Recovery. Why release something and a year later say that it is in your trash? I don't believe he has changed his mind about the record within a year. If anything, he should have apologied for releasing Refill - not because the tracks were bad, but because it was simply just a cash-in not to release it as an independt ep or something similar.

I loved it for what it was. The sick rhymes and creative flows piss all over anything there is on Recovery, let alone the story telling on tracks like Same song and dance and Stay wide awake.

The production was sublime too and definitely more apealing to me than some of the commercial radio beats on Recovery. Bagpipes from Bagdhad, Same song and dance, 3 a.m., Stay wide awake, Crack a bottle, Underground all had killer production.

The accent was only annoying on Old time's sake imo. Maybe his voice was a little too light on Crack a bottle.

Relapse is a personal classic of mine.
