You don't get the song at all if you wanna judge his singing ability in it. It's supposed to feel like a regular dude who isn't a singer singing for a fallen loved one out of pure emotion. His singing's fine when it isn't altered in the studio with all of the high-pitched BS. He'll never be mistaken for a "singer" but he's better than the average man off the street.

As for Drake...Drake can sing? News to me. Admittedly I haven't listened to much of his music, but his singing on Forever was autotuned garbage.
