I dont like compare albums like that, but I skip alot more on TES.......Without Me, Drips, Buisness, Say What U Say........Cant even remember last time I listened to those. The strong material on the TES, like sing for the moment and COMC is better then anything on recovery I guess, but theres nothing on Recovery as bad as the songs I mentioned above.....So I guess I call it a draw

You may think so (hopefully you didn't say that just cause it says so on Wikipedia) but i just prefer TES over MMLP. Both are contenders for the title easily.

lol, after giving myself the time to test its replay value, I think TES deserves the crown from this duel, not saying that recovery isn't great or anything but recovery has a lack of the delivery that's given us, it has that "monotonous" voice which Em is overusing...

It's hard to listen to any other em album right now because recovery is still always on repeat for me, but I think we need to give this at least a year. TES has been out for 8 years...actually more than 8 years, recovery with the leak is a month, our opinion in some way must be slightly biased because of this

Take away Till I Collapse and Sing For The Moment from TES and I'd give Recovery the nod, but since TES has those two songs it's better than Recovery for me

SSLP and MMLP on the other hand are both a different level to Recovery, imo

Um. Recovery is still probably the best album I've heard since about 2005, but it doesn't come within 2 miles of TES.

First of all, MMLP and SSLP are both better than TES. MMLP sold more than TES too. Also, TES had some good production and some classics but there are so many songs on that album I can't stand or don't care for. If TES had 8 mile road and Lose Yourself on that album then i would favor it. But as far as the song fillers on TES, they are Square Dance, Drips, Business, Saying Good Bye To Hollywood, Say what you say, Till The Music Stops, and My Daddy's Gone Crazy. That is 7 songs out of 15 which is quite a lot. For Recovery, I like all of them. On Fire is the worst one for me and I still like On Fire better than most of those 7 I just mentioned. I think sing for the moment is overrated. If it weren't for the trailer, it wouldn't stand out as much. Recovery all the way. Plus Eminem went on huge drugs right after TES. That means Recovery stands for him being a better role model, making me appreciate his messages much much more. That's why I like NA more and more, cuz of the message.

All the songs you listed as fillers are good. SGTH is amazing The only bad song on the album is Say What You Say.

props to those who agree that TES is his magnum opus. All the "filler" tracks people have been listing are amazing, and the album is much more consistent quality-wise, yet more diversified sound- and content-wise than MMLP. TES is his true masterpiece.

that said, it is fitting that Recovery is being compared to TES since that's the album it most resembles. of course, it can't touch TES; TES is too good.

i would be comparing Recovery to MMLP, but they're too different; it's hard to compare albums with such different styles and subject matter.
