BBC had permission from the management to show 3 of the performances. Then after Em came off stage his management said they couldn't show any. Probably because he was lip syncing like he had been in all his recent performances. He makes amazing songs but if you can't perform them what's the point?

u people are morons. I read the story and saw nothing about lip syncing. He does lip the words when the singing parts come up. He should just keep the mic down by his side, but I think sometimes he tries to sing along and it looks like he's lip syncing. I prefer no background at all. When u see Jay, it's just him over instrumentals. If he messes up, he messes up. So what. It's live and that's all that counts. That background sh1t is lame.

People think he's lip-syncing because they somehow can't believe how close he sounds to the real track live. I can always tell, I've listened to him for a decade and I know all of his songs to every last syllable. And he has not be lip-syncing lately.

He hasn't been doing purely live choruses for a while but the only time he was truly lip-syncing was Encore era. When he clearly couldn't be fucked to even rap the songs.

I don't know why people find it so hard to believe he sounds so close when he's rapping the verses. Em sits down and writes his verses until he's happy with them, in meticulous detail - Then he crafts a flow which he gets to a tee before he even goes to the booth.

So by the time he records the track it's just 'another performance' of what he's got there in his head. So of course he's going to sound the same on fucking stage. A lot of other rappers don't as they go in and freestyle shit then sloppily construct their flows bit by bit. Then by the time they get to the stage it's never the same as it was just a one-off in the booth.

I can usually tell by his voice if its the track or him. He does sound the most like studio version than any other rapper. Jay included. Jay switches up his songs to pull them off live. HE'll slow it down and talk softly and sh1t. When Em was in his prime, him live was like listening to a CD. HE has fallen off tho.


THese people should've had some kind of golf cart. IT's there fault. U expect a headliner to walk thru mud? Really? Jay and Beyonce would laugh at those dudes. I remember them doing something similar.
