So, a running theme on Recovery is how Em is so much better than these unnamed weak MCs and how he's pretty much going to butt-fuck the game with ease, but he has embraced pretty much all of his competition. We know he's down with Jay-Z, TI, Weezy, Drake, and Kanye. So wtf. I don't think he's randomly going at underground artist either.

I think it's a "Yeah you guys are nice but I'm on another level" thing without outright saying it to avoid beefs. So he is in fact talking about the people he's embraced. Doesn't necessarily mean he's getting at anybody either. Just a competitive spirit.

Thoughts?

Good point, I didn't even think about this, but I believe every artist does that. I mean on BP3 that's all jay does is say how great he is, what he has done, etc, but on that one song (can't remember the name) he gives like 40 rappers props, including em, so I think it may just be your typical rapper style/ego where you're better than everyone
