When people stopped making payments the banks started going out of business, as you've should of seen if you live in America.
Also, both Bush and Mccain tried to regulate the mortgage companies that gave out those loans, and both times it was rejected by democrats cause they didn't see a need for regulation until we were in a recession.
On top of that, the number of americans on food stamps is now 12% of the population, thats approximately 36 million people, and 24% more than it was a year ago. And you're here acting like we're all better off when the reliance on goverment is rising? GTFO

You can't clean debt by printing more money. All they are doing is either hyper-inflating or devaluing the U.S dollar. With a $12.8 trillion national debt, $6.3 trillion in Fannie/Freddie debt and $60 trillion in unfunded obligations for programs such as Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, the U.S. government has total obligations of over $79.1 trillion or 5.5 times the GDP. Debt is to big.
Bush and Mccain wouldn't have solved shit though both are retards. In times like these you need a leader with an iron fist seems as though the big cooperation's have more power than the government and influence all decisions for their survival.
