For anyone doubting Em in the slightest, trust me, he did every word.

What people were getting confused with was at the start his mic was too low, we could tell that cos even when he was speaking on it we could hardly hear him, but yet we could hear Mr Porter. During the songs people realised near me and shut up to see if he was miming, but heard him desparatly trying to shout the words out to make up for the technical problem. So we all cheered and rapped along louder to help him out cos we knew it wasn't his fault.

Now, there was 80,000 people, i was maybe 20,000 people back. If those people near the back heard the first songs, they might think he had been caught out lip syncing.

But tbh, i wouldn't listen to any 'neutral' comment.. Me and my mate were camped next to some girls, and i was woken by their voices at 6 in the morning. All i heard was them drunkenly saying.. 'We stopped around at the back for his first two songs out of respect, but then moved on, because we didn't agree with his views..'

So they couldn't hear 'Won't back down', yet didn't agree with its views? Man, they should've stayed along for 'Kill You'.. It only got better haha

In short, performance of the festival, pushed above Jay by the sheer fact he had more time, it was at night, and it was a headliner. But on some real shit, i know alot of you don't like Jay.. But anyone who questions him as a lyrical genius, or says he can't perform.. please.. go and see him.. Because although i love him, i had my doubts about maybe if he'd show up right cos he wasn't headlining.. But fuck me.. He was on another level altogether..

Obviously. I can always tell, I think it's so obvious visually when somebody is lip-syncing or not as you can just see by the way they're putting the words out or... Not. If there's appropriate sound coming from... Well, I can't explain it but it's just obvious.

Em just uses a backing track lately to make the whole thing smoother, then if he ever moves his mic away it keeps going. It's just a better idea.

it's supposed to be a live show, giving us all he can give in front of an audience. now i think it's sort of a lame attempt at it when he has to have the song playing in the background. that is why hip hop isn't really good live unless you just go for the party. if a band, say Coldplay, was playing their live show with a backing track they would be booed off the stage without a doubt

rapping is not exactly like singing yo, with that flow & speed that Eminem spits hit raps it's quite impossible to do the whole show 100% live (that's just what I thought though, it's not like I ever tried to do his rap)

That's totally different. Singing is holding notes, it's sustaining long deliverances. Rapping is quicker, there's so many more syllables and attention that needs to be paid to precise delivery.

So going straight from a hardcore verse into a big chorus I would say is harder than just singing the whole thing.
