Will Recovery be remembered as a classic album?

Postby JAGODA » Jul 14th, '10, 16:48

Here is a section about Relapse so I will do the same but the Recovery I hope it does not mind.

So what do you think, will be Recovery a classic album?

I voted for yes.

I couldnt give a fuck less. Apparently, you need to have shitload of street cred to have a classic in your discography. Em doesnt have that, regardless of what some major hip hop heads thought of him. Every Em album, except Relapse and Encore, literally shit on Illmatic IMO. *waits for "Anti-Stans" to jump in with that Stannery shit, eventhough he appreciates Illmatic for what it is - a great ass album, just not a classic.*

So yeah, Recovery IS a classic in my book.

classic imo.. cant get enough of it. the style change for this album is a factor to that. something new and different, its not the same old em. i dont think itd be considered a classic if it was repetitive of old music.
I'm still hungry as fuck, but can't even say bon appetit
