metaphors are pretty much a more complex version of similes.....or comparing something without using "like" or "As"

punchlines can be metaphors...but punchlines are suppose to be "funny".....least thats my view....

A metaphor can be a punchline...a metaphor isn't a rap term, it's an english term. Comparing two things without using like or as. A punchline is just a line that makes you look good or the other rapper look bad, sometimes you can use a metaphor to do that.
