Dude, save longer and get the studios.. I promise you it's worth it.. You will be much happier with the product.

There are some Sony headphones that are better than beats tho.

Beats by dre are terrible at cuttin out sound so whatever you play it plays for everyone. Beats also break easily.
I'm thinking about gettin the Sony headphones, still expensive tho.

It is true that the beats basically blare out what your listening to for everyone to hear..

Kinda a problem when your blasting Eminem and he's talking about sticking a tonka toy up a little kids butthole.

But I did a lot of research on the headphones before I got them and actually went into Best Buy and tried them all. The Studio beats by Dre were the ones that stood out to me and the ones I preferred. I worked at Best Buy at the time and I got them for 150$. I tried the sonys and to me they just weren't better, same with bose. Thats just my opinion and I recommend you go actually test them out and compare hands on... including the difference between studios and solo.

It's whatever works best for YOU.
