If an album gives me that kind of feeling, why is it so wrong that i make my own opinion based on that feeling?

Trying to joke on the way I speak or break things down is one thing but pure exaggerating to the point of taking awful material and pretending I do that with everything is ridiculous.
Dick head.
Yeah, you totally never defended Encore. How the fuck does Crazy In Love suck balls - The flow is insane and the lyricism is on another level.
There's nothing on his previous albums that even comes close to that wordplay.
It's called maturing. Idiot.I agree Encore had some filler tracks but calling it a piece of shit is way harsh.
Mosh, Crazy In Love, Never Enough, Yellow Brick Road, Evil Deeds...
Shit? I'd like to see you make better. Actually scrap that argument, it's childish. I'd like to see you name any other hip-hop around 04'/05' that was better.
Then 05 came When I'm gone, 06' = No Apologies.
So I don't know how you can say he's fell off.
Just because he doesn't rap about his dysfunctional mother anymore so you can sit there crying like a loser thinking you're relating. No but they're his SERIOUS songs.
He had stupid lyrics on The Slim Shady LP, MMLP, EmShow and Encore
It's called being versatile, he's just being himself, there's a silly and serious side to him.
Encore had lots of serious lyrics. Mosh is one of the most mature and classic Em songs I've heard in a long time. It had aggression, grit, power, it's class.
Evil Deeds, serious song, emotional and class.
By Encore he had done his personal stories to death so he could hardly have more emotional songs about Kim and Halie. I know you had Mockingbird.
But I think he purposely went a bit the other way so he didn't repeat himself.
And Big Weenie and Rain Man and My 1st Single etc. (All the silly tracks) were quick tracks he made to compensate for the leaked ones. Why do you think the production is so stripped. They were rushed.

Just Lose It is an excellent example of Em's subversive wit. It's just... so packed full of powerful irony. "It's cool if you let one go" lmao. The way he just, undercuts the entire facade. Just filled to the brim with awe-inspiring irony.
The Pee Wee Herman impersonations are caustic and acerbic in the way they challenge the status quo of society in general. It reminds me of Tyson in his prime, in a way. While many ignorant, closed-minded "critics" like to simply dismiss "Just Lose It" as a pile of shit, it's so much more than that. It's tongue-in-cheek, it's clever, it's layered. It's surreal.
The way he toys with various social conventions. The character play, the persona juggling, the incredibly dense ironical structure of it all. It's just sublime.

EminemBase wrote:Alaine wrote:SSLP & MMLP while are sick albums they also have catchy hooks, that's what makes Eminem a song-writer who can write sick verses with memorable hook, far above with those normal battle rappers.
And I really want to know those "concept album" excuse, cuz as I pointed out, there are only few songs that stay to the murder theme, the rest are really random.
They're not random. And the 'concept' isn't just being a killer. It's bigger than that. It's a metamorphosis of every... Evil and significant negative that shady has come to stand for.
He's not really Shady he's just an embodiment of it, that name is just what's known now but he's like a poetic serial killer, taking his vengence on the world. But this is why I say it's more than that, he's not just killing people. With every song, even the ones you mentioned which you pereceive as random...
It's the same thing he's attacking the culture, he's biting back at society, he's being a menance. This is essentially what he embodied in SSLP and what he tries to embody on Relapse. This is why he says it's like SSLP not because his voice sounds the same. Those songs aren't random, they all work conceptually as does "Same Song and Dance" and all of them bar the personal shit.
The only 'odd ones out' are "Crack a Bottle", "Beautiful" and "Deja Vu". But "Deja Vu" fits due to its sound / era. But to misunderstand it as just a horrorcore album or... Just random rhymes is a massive injustice to the artistry in it.
