Yeah its the last 16 bars of the 2nd verse that are so amazing - after the beat changes. thats probably what made u say the 3rd lol.

The singer as far as I know is the female from Khalil's group The New Royales.

I love it. I think it's my favourite Recovery track.

And the singer is Liz Rodriguez, the girl from Almost Famous. She wrote the hook to Won't Back Down as well. I think Em loves Khalil and all his buddies.


Em is such a cunt for not naming her along with the track, She totally deserves it.

Anyway, 25 to life is one of Em's greatest tracks.

when i first heard 25 to life i thought he was talking about kim or somthn, but in the end when he says "fuck you hiphop, im leaving you, my life sentence is served bitch" i was like :o

my favorite on the album :worship:
it's lonely at the top, i'd rather be alone, cuz the closest people to ya are the ones who gunna do u wrong................

same first time i heard it i was like well i guess it's alright but why a love song, as soon as i heard fuck you hip hop it was like :o and the song became amazing at that moment.

It's one of my favorites of all time by him too. So why did it do so shit on the "Ranking Marshall" poll? Sometimes I think people just don't want to believe that his new songs are as good as his older stuff, so will always vote in favor of his older material coz its seen as "classic" while his new stuff isn't.... yet.
