Just got back from Birmingham after staying the night there after one hell of night.

Some random guy warmed up who was pretty annoying, followed by Akala who was class. Then some DJ, who I couldnt understand a word of..., played some reggae (I pretended to know the songs) then soem classic hip hop which was wayyyy better.

Then Nas & Damian came out and shit was incredible. The energy from them and the crowd was orgasmic. I was only tipsy so I could appreciate the music wayy more than if it was out of it. 'Hate Me Now', 'Made You Look' and 'Represent' were probably the highlights, 'Strong Will Continue' was also fucking awesome.

Then they went off before an incredible encore - "As We Enter", "Friends", "One Mic" (to the tune of Phill Collins' In The Air Tonight) and finally, Bob Marley's classic "Could You Be Loved".

Man I was absolutely buzzing, so after watching about 10 fights outside the arena, I got absolutely shit faced in Birmingham and feeling the effects this moring.

All part of the fun, right!

Im jelous due to the fact im not going to the London show because i relied on a mate to get the tickets and he fucked up, kinda gutted cos its nas and damian marley!!! But meh, il go to a Akala gig end of year and hope Nas/Marley make another album.
