Hopefully they are smart and release Talkin' 2 Myself as a 3rd single.

People here seem to think "No Love" will be released but all that was tweeted is a video is in the works. Not that it will necessarily be a single. MTV in an article today just said a 3rd single hasnt been announced. Now i wouldn't necessarily consider mtv an end all be all source it's all we can really go by now.

The top of next week's chart is still too close to call, as a couple of hip-hop heavyweights continue to duke it out in a bout that promises to stay nip and tuck throughout the weekend. If Eminem is victorious, it will be his fifth consecutive week at #1. As for challenger Rick Ross, regardless of where he lands on the chart, dude’s on track to beat the first week of his previous release by about 25k. You’ll note that the top five releases listed below, and 10 of the 15, are from UMG.

Eminem (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) 180-190k

* Rick Ross (Def Jam/IDJ) 180-190k
* Sheryl Crow (A&M) 45-50k
Drake (Young Money/Cash Money/Universal Motown) 45-50k
Justin Bieber (Island/IDJ) 40-45k
* Kidz Bop Kids (Razor & Tie) 35-40k
* Jonas Brothers, Jonas L.A. Soundtrack (Walt Disney) 35-40k
Now 34 (Capitol/EMI) 27-30k
Lady Gaga (Interscope) 24-27k
Lady Antebellum (Capitol Nashville/EMI) 24-27k
Jack Johnson (Brushfire/Universal Republic) 21-24k
Usher (LaFace/JLG) 21-24k
Zac Brown Band (Atlantic) 18-21k
Korn (Roadrunner) 18-21k
Jerrod Niemann (Arista Nashville) 18-21k
Enrique Iglesias (Universal Republic) 18-21k
Big Boi (Def Jam/IDJ) 18-21k

0% drop from last week? :o This is too EPIC :worship:

If Recovery keeps decreasing by only 15% each week, we could go 3x platinum easily. Maybe it'll even beat C3's sales. I wonder what lilbitch4life will think then. Either way he's gonna kill Wayne worldwide anyway. :coffee:

Don't get me wrong that's very good but if it was out today in 2010 it would be less. I guess a 2010 album can have a shot to beat Carter III. Well I'm talking about USA because worldwide we know it

But I don't see anybody beatin ACDC' Black Ice (7.5 millions worldwide) it was out in 2008. I don't think it's possible anymore in 2010 and after to beat them.
That's impressive ACDC is really an old band but still sellin' well. Eminem is one of the few too to have the selling power after 12 years.

Either way we know that Lil Wayne will just end up like 50 Cent in a couple years. He's just a fad. :coffee:

Geno wrote:The MMLP went 1.76 mil in it's first week. Sure, that's back when records sold more, but do you really think Tha Carter 3 woulda sold that much back then? Doubt it.

The Carter 3 would of done fuck all in 00 because there was good albums coming from everywhere

It came out in 08 when all the giants were sleeping and MTV and others conspired to make people believe this was the best thing since sliced bread and that Wayne was the best alive

Shame on anyone that believed them

^^He did 50 Cent numbers last time out so its already happened,i hope 50 bounces back though

Im sick of this,it was a rock album excuse aswell

Either way we all know Wayne and Birdman bought a bunch of copies of C3. Seriously, how does an album do over a milli in the first week, then drop to 300k. That's a 70% drop off. Recovery is having some major fuckin' hang-time on the charts. I think it has the possibility to outsell C3 in the U.S. :worship:
