Well it's hard to bitch about the single choices when they are two for two with #1 hit's.

Hopefully they are smart and release Talkin' 2 Myself as a 3rd single.

People here seem to think "No Love" will be released but all that was tweeted is a video is in the works. Not that it will necessarily be a single. MTV in an article today just said a 3rd single hasnt been announced. Now i wouldn't necessarily consider mtv an end all be all source it's all we can really go by now.

Don't get me wrong that's very good but if it was out today in 2010 it would be less. I guess a 2010 album can have a shot to beat Carter III. Well I'm talking about USA because worldwide we know it

But I don't see anybody beatin ACDC' Black Ice (7.5 millions worldwide) it was out in 2008. I don't think it's possible anymore in 2010 and after to beat them.
That's impressive ACDC is really an old band but still sellin' well. Eminem is one of the few too to have the selling power after 12 years.

The MMLP went 1.76 mil in it's first week. Sure, that's back when records sold more, but do you really think Tha Carter 3 woulda sold that much back then? Doubt it.

The Carter 3 would of done fuck all in 00 because there was good albums coming from everywhere

It came out in 08 when all the giants were sleeping and MTV and others conspired to make people believe this was the best thing since sliced bread and that Wayne was the best alive

Either way we all know Wayne and Birdman bought a bunch of copies of C3. Seriously, how does an album do over a milli in the first week, then drop to 300k. That's a 70% drop off. Recovery is having some major fuckin' hang-time on the charts. I think it has the possibility to outsell C3 in the U.S.
