SFTM is a good song but that not my favorite Em. Thats why i dont consider it a classic b/c the album doesnt have the edginess that his first 2 had.

I feel like the energy was more shown in the serious songs, whereas the sslp and mmlp he had so much energy in the majority of tracks...if that makes sense :y:

Part of what makes a classic a classic is the production. The production on the Slim Shady LP is what gets me. My Fault, Cum On Everybody, and I'm Shady just have terrible beats. I love old school beats and those aren't oldschool beats. I don't know what it is but

Everyone has a different definition of a classic album, and a different taste than others.

I consider both MMLP and TES as classics.

SSLP was flawless. MMLP and TES were also great albums, though not quite flawless.

Encore is a minus-8639393/10 album.

Recovery and Relapse are somewhere in the neighborhood of 7/8 / 10.

Lol did you just compare Recovery and Relapse and gave them the same score?

Classic is the correct, legitimate way of rating something of a scale of perfection.

Yes, I did. The sloppy lyricism and corny punchlines are a major flaw on Recovery. Of course, you're a Wayne fan so you probably love that stuff.

And no, nobody other than rap fans ever argues about whether or not an album is a "classic." It's a stupid, made up term that rap fans can't even agree on the definition of. If you can't even agree on the definition then you shouldn't even bother having the discussion.

Lyricism isn't all multis you idiot, it has much more levels than that. And leave my boy alone muhfucka :coffee:

Who said anything about multis, dipshit?

The sloppy lyricism goes beyond multis. The lines not fitting the bars correctly on most songs, for example.

he has only ONE classic and that is.. "Classic Shit" xDD

I think.. SSLP MMLP TES and RECOVERY are pure classics, relapse and encore are different. not 100% horrible, but they ain't classics either.

Those lines all fit in with the songs except the last one.

And the lyricism might be sloppy on a few lines in there but they're just lines. The songs in Recovery range from average lyricism (T2M, Cinderella Man) to incredible lyricism (OF, CWB & Untitled).
