This
They claim that I'm violent, just cause I refuse to be silent
These hypocrites are havin fits, cause I'm not buyin it
Defyin it, envious because I will rebel against
any oppressor, and this is known as self defense
I show no mercy, they claim that I'm the lunatic
But when the shit gets thick, I'm the one you go and get
Don't look confused, the truth is so plain to see
Cause I'm the nigga that you sell-outs are ashamed to be

No The Way I Am? I would have thought that had more of a message than 'Stan'. So I voted for SFTM.

Stan, just slightly ahead of SFTM for me. Both are :worship: though. Very hard choice.

By 'message' I mean something more significant or outside the realm of rap / hip-hop/ Eminem / Eminem's life. The Way I Am hes venting his frustration at music executives and life in the limelight - hes not saying anything with a greater meaning / purpose.

Stan deals with obsession and fan-dom, and contains messages which translate outside the realm of the song / album.

The next grouping is going to be the songs in which Eminem reflects / vents / makes a statement about his own life. The Way I Am will be in that, along with songs such as Not Afraid.

Would Lose Yourself be considered a message single, as it's addressed to the listener, telling him/her that "you can do anything you set your mind to" if you "lose yourself" in whatever you are doing, and not to miss opportunities.

It's not from his solo albums.

stan
I'm only entertaining you
My goal is to stimulate, making you high
And take you and I
To a place you can't see
But I believe you can fly
I don't mean nobody harm, I'm just partying
I'm not your dad, not your mom, not your guardian
Just a man who's on the mic
So let me entertain you...
