Next week looks like it's between Avenged Sevenfold and Eminem. I think Eminem will take it. On iTunes right now Avenged Sevenfold is #1.
Eminem is the G.O.A.T Rapper.

word...just look what happened to Recovery vs Relapse

Dont get him started, it is No.74 on itunes hardly breaking any records

Infact the 3 songs they made together so far did sweet fuck all on the charts

i meant Lil Wayne feature helped add some numbers for first week album sales...hence why i compared 2 Eminem albums

No way I think that Not Afraid becoming a huge hit compared to We Made You is what helped recovery sell more than relapse. Than you have LTWYL which is another number 1 record. Em got bigger hit songs than he did on relapse. Not Afraid and LTWYL are much bigger singles than We Made You, 3 am and Beautiful.

Wayne being on the album I dont think had much effect on sales. Wayne has been on albums that have flopped in the past.

If Wayne had any positive effect on Eminem's sales, it is Eminem's features in Drop The World and Forever. Those tracks perked the rap-community's ears up.

is Avenged Sevenfold a popular band? they've already taken the top spot on itunes (the other version is top 5 also) and their album just got release. I was thinking Em can get his #1 spot back next week but it seems debatable now

for the 54% sale though, it's hardly mean anything, especially when the number this close.

^ it's not that important, Rick Ross's sale gonna collapse next week with 70% drop anyway, while Em's still doing high sale & stable, that's what matters :smoking:

well apparently Avenged Sevenfold is a heavy metal band, their last album didn't go to #1 but they seem to be more popular now cuz I see their name on the top 10 artist on MTV page (the only band there). Damn I guess Em's run at #1 ended last here then

Avenged Sevenfold is popular band. In the end of 2009 they lost(died) drummer Rev. He was one of the best drummer in the world.
He was also a songwriter, and did soem back vocals on the album.
"Proof, No matter how much time passes, not a day goes by that I don't think of you. If it weren't for you, I would not be where I am today and we both know it. I tried to write song for you but nothing was good enough, so I'm dedicating them all to you-and you'd be happy to know that I spazzed out on 'em gain!I know you wouldn't have it any other way! Fuck 'em all--let's get 'em!
P.S. I'm sober now, I know you'd be proud. I love you Doody, I'll never forget you. Love, Doody "
