I think Recovery will hit #1 if it experiences the same drop. So i'm pretty confident Em will take it.

do you have to look through all 1000? can't you sort by artist !? i don't have iTunes so i'm not sure if that possible

You don't need iTunes to view that list. It lists you the 1,000 current on like Google or something. Let me get the link.

Eminem cruises to No. 1 again in Canada

#1 Eminem - Recovery - 28,000
#2 Sheryl Crow - 100 Miles From Memphis - 4,600

Sheryl Crow's new album "100 Miles From Memphis" was miles from the top spot on the album charts this week.

Despite her No. 2 debut (with 4,600 in sales), Crow was well behind Eminem's "Recovery," which took the No. 1 crown for a fifth straight week.

Em's new disc racked up another 28,000 copies, and has now sold a grand total of 214,000.

I've been looking for something like this forever, the hip hop chart with the total sales, all the way down. Ross didn't just lose to EM but to 50 too. BISD came half a year after Ross' last album and it's ahead of it up to date.

Searching "Soundscan" in the twitter search sometimes you come up with gems.

As of right now on iTunes Avenged is #1 & #3. Eminem is #2 & #4.

Remember digital sales is only at the most 1/3 of the actual sales. sometimes even 1/5. So while it's tough to make predictions based of digital sales i think if it stays close to that Em has it on lock.

I'm thinking 170-180K for Em.

The next question is: Can Eminem keep the streak going? The buzz from the Rihanna hit will eventually taper off, but the good news for Team Shady is that there doesn't appear to be much in the way of competition over the next few weeks.

Caulfield looked ahead and said the latest from Avenged Sevenfold, next week's Nightmare, doesn't look to be a major threat, and the August 3 release from Arcade Fire, The Suburbs, should do well, but might also not have enough to knock Em down if his sales trend continues.

That takes us out to August 10, when the "Camp Rock 2" soundtrack doesn't seem like much of a real threat, though the debut from "Cooler Than Me" singer Mike Posner, 31 Minutes to Takeoff, could pose a challenge. In fact, you have to go all the way out to August 24 and the chart debut of Katy Perry's Teenage Dream to find a disc that could knock Marshall Mathers from his perch.

No idea. Some weeks different things leak. Hopefully we get full 200 soundscan numbers this week.
