Favorite: Eminem
Best: Slug (Atmosphere)

Yes yes, I know, I look like a real honkey sayin' this.
But I've been listening to Slug a lot, and by a lot I mean a lot, and I really think he is the best to do it.
Then we can discuss what "best" really is, but to me, he got everything a rapper needs and more.
Him and Ant together is the most musically talented duo I've ever heard.
Slug's storytellin' skills and the way he can make you paint pictures in your mind of what's going on in the song is amazing. Nobody else can do that like him what I've heard so far.
His rhymes are crazy, not in terms of long and complex, but in terms of continuing the stories of the songs in a good way.
Flow is always top notch and the delivery on his songs are nearly perfect. I don't think I've heard a song with better delivery and emotion than Trying To Find A Balance. That shit's insane.

And I don't need to go in on Shady.
Shady's Shady. No one other like him.

I'm high as a motherfucker right now by the way, so I don't know if you can understand shit of what I just wrote... and I don't wanna go back and re-read it all, so yeah... :staticsmoking:

Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

Copywrite is my favorite rapper but DZK is the GOAT.

Hmm... Well, taste is personable to of course so, you may objectively be able to see what a superb lyricist and rapper a someone is but be unable to like them. As they're not suited to your taste in terms of their material and ideas.

But yeah, for me, Eminem happens to slot in both. I don't think he's the best because he's my favourite (I think so because of my overview of his ability) and he's not my favourite just because I think he's the best.

I suppose an analogy that would parrelel this is who is your favourite director and who do you think the best is. Because... I could confidently say Quentin Tarantino is my favourite director, by a mile. But then I could probably also name some directors who probably have more technical ability. But it's gotta be the wholre package, the personality within the art. It's not science so the presentation is as important as the execution

In hip-hop though Em is both to me. He's also the QT of rap. :b:
