But yeah, for me, Eminem happens to slot in both. I don't think he's the best because he's my favourite (I think so because of my overview of his ability) and he's not my favourite just because I think he's the best.
I suppose an analogy that would parrelel this is who is your favourite director and who do you think the best is. Because... I could confidently say Quentin Tarantino is my favourite director, by a mile. But then I could probably also name some directors who probably have more technical ability. But it's gotta be the wholre package, the personality within the art. It's not science so the presentation is as important as the execution
In hip-hop though Em is both to me. He's also the QT of rap.
