Just curious...how did Crack a Bottle do in the weeks after it hit number one?

Did it drop really fast or hang around the top 10 or 20 like Not Afraid has been doing? Is there a way to search the chart history, week by week, of particular songs?

it dropped to #3 the next week then #5 and #8
you can search the chart history week by week by clicking "View Chart Achieves" and choosing the week u wanna view,but only the top 10 spots is public.The link under is the week crack a bottle hitting #1:

Remember though ltwyl has another version in the top 30. So it will still be selling more than Dynamite. Also LTWYL is killing dynamite in airplay. So it could actually turn out for the best. Right when Dynamite comes close to selling more digitally the video is released.

But it can still be overtaken right?

Even when a song may start selling a little more than LTWYL none of the songs that will are even close to LTWYL in airplay. LTWYL is not going to drop enough where one of these songs outsells it by 80K which is what it would have to do to make up for the airplay differential.

Dynamite, I like it, and Dj got us falling in love are way behind in airplay right now. Teenage Dream is slowing down and not looking like competition. Plus Katy released another single today. Which will probably push teenage dream down.

Also two versions of the songs in the top 30 also needs to be took into account.

Well. not necessarily. it's tough to tell because some songs have many versions while some only have one.

Dynamite only has one version charting in the top 200 on iTunes. LTWYL has 3.

But say if LTWYL drops to like #2 and the other main version to like #35 more than likely LTWYL would still end up #1 digitally. You can add the pop bars together to check that. Like both versions of LTWYL and compare it to dynamite.

You're very in tune with all the sales, aren't you?

People think i only do it for Eminem but that's not true. He happens to be the best sales of anybody i keep track off though and has the most stuff to keep track off as far as singles go.

Tool my favorite band doesnt release stuff on iTunes and while they sell a lot of records the majority are in the first few weeks which is like all the big bands and artists but it doesnt stay in the top 50 for very long. But i do like following sales even if none of my fave bands of artists released anything.
