Em should work with Emile more in the future

Postby xxTrigger1989xx » Aug 2nd, '10, 22:36

I was listening to Going Through Changes, and he flows so well with it. I then realized why. It's because of the track itself. The track SOUNDS like an Eminem track, ya know. With all these different sounds on Recovery, Going Through Changes seems like a beat he would have picked for The Eminem Show. Emile is a great producer, he produced a good amount of songs on Kid Cudi's debut and all of the tracks he produced are excellent

Does anyone else agree?

Thanks :y:

Dj Khalil would be nice too, he had some pretty good beats on Recovery...with the exception of Won't Back Down. And Boi-1da if he can make another beat as good as Seduction. I know a lot of people don't like that song, but I find it to be enjoyable. The beat, to me, is superb. He just needs to chill with the snares, that's all

lmao sorry naw mean, but htat beat is just really easy to flow to

if u haven't heard the remixes, going thorugh changes is just a real simple beat to flow too

but i agree in the sense that 4th verse was the best flow on the album. EASY.

Well, it's not my favorite on the album, it was just something I noticed. It's slowly becoming probably my 3rd favorite. I'm sure it is easy to flow to, but that doesn't make it any less good. The lyrics are some of the best on the album. But, my vote for best song goes to 25 To Life. It's one of those few songs I would personally call nearly flawless

And sorry for double posting, but I said this in my second post on this thread. The producer was Boi-1da. I said if he can manage to make another beat as good as Seduction, then Em should work with him. Seduction is my 2nd favorite off Recovery, because I enjoy the beat a whole lot and plus I think Em kills the song. May not have the best rhyming on the album, but it's a very entertaining song, in my eyes. And, compared to Boi-1da's other production, Seduction is a highlight of his producing career. He just needs to cut down the snares a little bit

Going Through Changes has the best production on the album, and maybe the best production of any Eminem song. It is just put together so well. The chorus variations with Em, the heartbeat sensor, and the drum are amazing. It blows my mind how good the beat is when it's fading out at the end.. Usually makes me replay the song immediately.

I agree, it is certainly one of my favorite beats on the album. Hence why I made this thread. If you like the beat, you need to check out Kid Cudi's album, Emile produces a good bit of it

what? there are people hating on Seduction? :shakehead:

And I agreed on the GTC beat, I really like the outro too, wish it was longer :b:

Yeah, I think it's just because of the lyrics for a lot of people. The hook, to me, is probably one of the best on Recovery. I like how he sings it, when he sang in other songs, that's how he shoulda sounded. And his flow, I don't think a lot of people like his flow on it because it's very different from the rest of the songs, but I find the flow really interesting. And the lyrics aren't really bad at all to me, compared to some other songs on Recovery, then yeah, but the track as a whole is a well put together track for me.

Another one some people don't like is So Bad. I like that song a lot too. The beat is a classic Dre beat to me, and the song is pretty funny to me too. And the hook is pretty awesome, gives Seduction a run for its money as far as hooks though. But I like Seduction a lot more :)

Good topic, good poster (you should post more). I agree, some of his work with Proof and Obie is exceptional.

I dont want any more Boi-1da though. Seduction was decent but Not Afraid was probably the worst beat Em's ever rapped on. His beats are so monotonous and work on certain concepts (Seduction for example) but get boring easily.

JB was pretty dissapointing for me on Recovery. I'd like to see more Dre, more Havoc and more Khalil.
