Well the big boi albums has got better reviews than recovery from a lot of the same reviewers. Wrongly so imo. But they could give it to big boi. Hope it's Recovery.

Not that I think Recovery should be 5 mics anyway. I think 4 or 4.5.

But... Did any of his others get 5 mics? Because if The Marshall Mathers LP or The Eminem Show didn't that's just a fucking scandal. They're as close to perfect and mesmerizing as you come. Anyway I think they will have given it to Big Boi.

BTW Rick Ross' album has 11 tracks and TEN fucking features. ONE true solo track... That is just shocking. If Em did that they would be straight on him. Sick of heavy-feature albums. Solo rappers don't have the balls to be SOLO rappers anymore.

I think that Recovery has more weak songs than The Roots and Big Boi's albums. I am aware that it does have more songs overall so it's more likely to have weaker ones. I don't like Won't Back Down, W.T.P. and You're Never Over. In Big Boi's I don't like You Ain't No DJ and Hustle Blood is not great. In The Roots' album, Web 20/20 and Hustla are just average.

If so that should of been the total implosion of The Source lmao. I know it's "subjective" but people just fall back on that. There is objective reasoning to critcism too, irrespective of personal taste.

For example it's no coindience the 'majority' of respected critics think The Godfather is a masterpiece. There's universal asthetics, themes and theories of execution that are appreciated. And to give MMLP 2 out of 5 is just ridiculous for a respected hip-hop magazine.

3 good albums, The Roots I think is the best of the lot. Recovery is probably on par or slightly ahead of Sir Lucious Leftfoot.

None are 5 mics in my opinion but I wouldnt mind any of them getting it.
