I don't know if it's gonna be as good as Recovery, I think he should record one more CD and go away hopely with good material...

anyway, I think it'll be a while till we get another solo album from him
Look, next album I think is 2012 - 40 years old, next - 2014 - 42... fuck so close to 50:DOne Mic wrote:Shut the fuck up about how Eminem looks. I couldn't care less, you listen to music for good music!
Besides, Eminem has still got just over 2 years left of his 30's yet.
And if Eminem's next album is as good, or slightly better than Recovery I will be satisfied with that. Anything else is a bonus

To be honest I see him moving more and more towards the mainstream style of rap that has been a feature in the last few years. Recovery has major aspects of it. Working with Wayne & Drake etc will only increase the constant use of weak metaphors and boring bragging on record.
Hope I'm wrong of course, and that Em improves - a lot can be improved in terms of style from Recovery, I reckon. His rapping ability is back in a decent place he just needs to stop with this punchline style and repetitive delivery, sounds so forced.

Feels like he's on an upward climb not at a peak already. Relapse got all the hardcore rhyming out his system and Recovery got the bragging due to his new state out his system.
I love them both. But, I feel he'll be forced to use his talents to create more truly original material next time. Given he's hammered every aspect of his personal issues. Especially the drug thing now, basically two albums on it, from different perspectives.
So interesting to see what he does next.

well tbh there is no garuntee, but from recent music I would strongly agree with the fact of his increase of music this past year.
The further he gets away from his past addiction the better his music increases, and I can't see why someone who release 3 forever classic albums at his best would not be able to get back to that mind state. He release 3 amazing albums and drugs influenced the next couple and in recovery he seems to be showing glimpses of what he can be/used to be when his mind is clear.
If he can get to the mental state of clarity he was once in there is nothing stopping him from releasing another classic. And ya it may not be as good due to his new style but he can't release songs that sound like his old music forever. We want him to release amazing songs just like he used to have but in reality he changes his style every album and I don't see how he can possibly fill the hole of what his fans desire.
He is a victim of his own success.
