Not read this since that Lil Wayne fan was banging out about Carter 3.

Does he also realise that Carter 3 has like 6 songs that Wayne does by himself? Recovery only has one guest verse and that is from Wayne. If people appear on it they get a chorus. Wayne has sold more than he should because of the people he has on his album, you can't deny they did not boost sales.

Also Wayne has had one album that has sold exceptionally well. EVERY SINGLE EMINEM ALBUM HAS SOLD MILLIONS.

Has Wayne even got an album where the majority of the songs are just him? It doesn't take a genius to put out loads of average albums and one great album with a load of features.

And for his argument that Wayne's 4 weeks sales out sold Em's 5 weeks thats because of 1st week sales. He had like a 250k lead or whatever that means it would take longer to catch but only 1 of those weeks did C3 outsell Recovery and that was the release week. Also that was American sales only, World Wide Em caught him before that and will surpass him very soon.

Also C3 hasn't done 5M world wide, I live in the UK which is a place that Wayne is known a bit more in than most countries and he isn't even that big over here, he def doesn't sell that well here.

Who cares about Wayne? If you bring him up, that's more ammo for him.

Anyway, great sales by Em. It couldn't have happened to a better album.

Yeah it's at like what 3M now, seems like it could happen if you give it another year. Domestic I think will do like 3M by end of the year :y:

Why do people try to compare Wayne to Em? Wayne's record sales are no where close to what Eminem has sold.

Once Recovery passes C3 in sales (which will take a while, but - I'm pretty certain will eventually happen), the only thing C3 will have on Recovery is 1st week sales. Which still gives Wayne zilch on Em's career.

And to whomever was speculating about why C3 sold so much - features, etc - you're wrong. It sold so much because Lollipop made 13 year old girls dance.

6 out of 7 weeks at #1 assuming this holds up. Not Bad. Hopefully it turns into 8 out of 9 weeks at #1. Also looks like if it's over 100K next week it will be it's 8th Week over 100K which would be the most this year.

http://www.hitsdailydouble.com/news/rumormill.cgi

Eminem will achieve a seventh week with sales north of 100k when the HITS Album Chart is final next Tuesday. Surprisingly, the last time this happened was earlier this year, when Lady Antebellum scored seven straight weeks at 100k+ with Need You Now. For now, at least, these are the two albums battling for the title as the year's best seller. Including next week's projected totals, Lady Antebellum leads with about 2.5m, while Eminem, still selling five-to-six times more per week, will be just under 2m. Nearing the end of the sales week, it looks like Eminem will regain the #1 spot, though the challenge from Arcade Fire looks formidable and still may surprise come Monday, as the band racks up its best sales week ever. No matter which of these two adventurous albums wins out, it looks like the old maxim still holds up: Good records sell.

Eminem (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) 150-155k
* Arcade Fire (Merge) 130-140k
Avenged Sevenfold (Warner Bros.) 45-50k
Rick Ross (Def Jam/IDJ) 40-45k
Justin Bieber (Island/IDJ) 35-40k
* Lady Gaga, The Remix (Interscope) 35-40k
* Bun B (Rap-a-Lot) 35-40k
Drake (Young Money/Cash Money/Universal Motown) 30-35k
Lady Antebellum (Capitol Nashville/EMI) 30-35k
* Buckcherry (Eleven Seven Music) 25-30k
* Black Crowes (Silver Arrow) 25-30k
Kidz Bop Kids (Razor & Tie) 24-27k
Lady Gaga, The Fame (Interscope) 21-24k
Now 34 (Capitol/EMI) 20-22k
Black Eyed Peas (Interscope) 20-22k
* Denotes debut
Eminem is the G.O.A.T Rapper.
