Lightyears with his flow? What? He has this stop and start flow on Recovery and cus he doesnt write lineary (cept On Fire and LTWYL) it creates a choppy as hell flow - unnatural. His flow on his first 3 albums was so smooth and natural. Take his flow on Criminal, then his flow on 25 To Life - it's lightyears behind, not ahead.
And his delivery on Recovery is just forced shouting. First 3 CD's (and Relapse) had wayyy more variety.

The Marshall Mathers LP doesn't have skippable songs, they are awesome, from the singles (The Way I am, The Real Slim Shady, Stan, which are all classics, and the ''stan'' word being used till this day), to the Wacky songs (Under the Influence (which isn't too wacky btw), and Bitch Please II), to awesome non-single songs like Kill You, Kim (what artist can make a whole song screamin rhyming words and still like it). Drug Ballad and Amityville fuckin awesome too. I'm Back kinda stands out on the rest, it has 3 artistically complete verses! Who knew wasn't bad
listen to this: Eminem was gonna chose Who Knew as the first single of MMLP, but Interscope didn't like it being a single, and they wanted a wacky first single like My Name Is on SSLP, so he wrote ''The Real Slim Shady'' the day before the album got released.... and look what a hit it turned out to be and a classic too!!! Funny how a career got changed to the better by one single day!!!
Anyways, Marshall Mathers LP stands out as Eminem's best album. The Eminem Show had great singles, but the other songs were good but not great, Say what You Say, When the Music Stops,Drips... were good songs, but nothin close to those on the MMLP
The Slim Shady LP was one fuckin dope album, Better than TES in my opinion, the only bad thing in it, is that it has recycled songs from the Slim Shady EP, but who cares, they are still awesome, Cum On everybody, as the world turns, rock bottom, If i had, still don't give a fuck etc... these are what hip hop is!
Recovery is good yo, but nothin close to what he used to make, still though a step forward from Encore and Relapse, but anyways, it's logicall, you can't expect a 37 year old Eminem to write about the same topics, Imagine eminem now singing about being poor and broke as fuck, and still nagging about his mom, and imagine on his next album, doing the same as recovery and sayin how he broke free, He can't continue on the same basis, eople will lose interest...
So that's why I can't wait for his next album to see what topics he will deliver
