Wats the big deal in saying that, if u dont believe in god, u could care less if its buddaah or allah or watever.

I think people should use freedome of speech more wisely, and at least use it to defend a more important cuase- like kicking a terrorist president out of office.

i went there to Seaworld, and what the fuck, when it opened the national anthem was playing.... i pledge allegiance to people who act normal and not think in the way of the scary-ass patriots who think they live in the best country in the world...

i heard there was a court case on this a few years ago a lawyer was trying to get it to be changed because he didn't want his daughter to say the 'under god' part :unsure:

.....as for the pledge i really don't mind i've been doing it since kindergarten and i've stopped saying it since 7th grade now all i do is stand up and put my hand over my heart for the pledge :sweating:

technically students aren't being forced to say under god teachers just make you stand up and put your hand over your heart. you don't have to say anything if you don't want to

Exactly...every morning at around 7:33..after the Tardy Bell rings at 7:30...the Secretary in the main office comes on and asks for a moment of silence...afterwards...she comes back on and asks for you to join in the Pledge of Allegiance...(She doesn't say it, but clicks off..and then the teacher starts)...at our school...if you don't want to say it...or don't want any part of it...then all you have to do is get a note from your parent saying otherwise...They don't complain about the Star Spangle Banner being played at the beginning of every game...it's just total bullshit...people should have other things to worry about...like George Bush renewing the Patriots Act...or the brink of "Civil War" in Iraq...it's just ignorant individuals that have nothing else to do but piss others off...

taylor why do u always post topics that are on the news that we hear 24/7? u did the pledge , abortion , morning after pill , if u should be able to make deals with lawyers, etc. ect. i know theres more...but why post shit that we hear everyday on the news and stuff? its annoying~! :angry:
