wat exactly is that.
is it supposed to be rappers that are unknown and dont rap for the money, or that have a unique version of rap?
please, id really like to know, thank you very much
o ya and please name some nice artists or songs if u can

A rapper with unlimited creative control of his work, one that does most of his work on his own.

Underground rappers can be signed, but dont have enough money to promote themselves .

Yeah... They said it right. Any MC that isn't attached to a label so they complete control over their own image and output -- It's true for ever musical genre (indie rock, folk, etc.)... Even "mainstream" or radio artists can put out "underground" releases (usually mixtapes).
