The Re-up Voice

Postby Mahmoud48 » Aug 16th, '10, 22:13

i mean if u hear songs from the re up witch came at 2006
his flow his voice it was grungdy
now wut i mean like hes been screaming all day and then made that album

obviously way better then encore

now imagine if eminem made an album around 2007-2008
i doubt it would be like relapse( dont get me wrong i love relapse)
but im just saying

o BTW
do u relize eminem uses a different flow on every album
SSLP and MMLP was a childish voice but yet crazy
TES scream serious more mature
Encore Slurring and some accents
Relapse ACCENTS
Recovery a light scream and singing

If Em put out an album in 2007-2008 it would've sucked. Imagine an album with a ton of songs like Fack, My 1st Single, Big Weenie, Touchdown, etc.. I seriously think that some of the Re-Up songs are old. There's no way he could've rapped No Apologies in 2005-2006, and in the song "The Re-Up" doesn't 50 Cent give The Game props? I gotta say that Em's material was pretty good on "The Re-Up" though. His voice sounds the same IMO.

^^ Yeah it was after but Im sure a lot of material was written before Encore

E.g. Somewhere between 2000-2002 Em was on Tim Westwood and was doing a freestyle and did the first verse of No Apologies on the Say What You Say beat

I doubt he would of put out songs like "Fack" in 07/08.

You could tell that around Re-Up it was the height of his self-loathing. Which is why he's so angry and bitchy on that. And if you listen to "My Darling" and "Careful What You Wish For" which were obviously from that time period, you could tell the 07ish album would of been dark.

I wish he'd put it out. Lyrically it probably would of been sluggish and everything but it would of had such a dark overtone captured by his mindset at that time. If he wants to be an artist who truly reflects his mindset at any given time, I think capturing the darkest points would be just as fascinating.

King Mathers would have been a horrible album. Everything we've heard from that time period has been awful. I'm glad he didn't put it out.

Em needed to go through his Relapse phase of writing before he could evolve to where he's at now.

I may be the only one who thinks this, but I love CWYWF. I dunno, I just like the slower pace and content that came from it. I don't want all of his songs like that- but it was a nice change-up from what Relapse was.
