Here my 3 of the 90's....

Jay-Z : Reasonable Doubt.

2:

Raekwon : Only Built for cubban Linx.

1:

Nas : Illmatic.

P.s for number 3 i was stuck between Redy to die,36 chambers, the slim shady LP and Reasonable doubt but out of my pure opinion of replay value and off the chart beats ... had to go to jigga. :flutter:

3: Gang starr - Moment of truth
2: Nas - Illmatic
1: Eminem - Slim Shady LP

(not saying those are the best, but they are my favourites)

2001, The Chronic, Only built 4 cuban linx, 36 chambers, Infamous (no order).

Hip hop has definitely peaked in the 90's.

EDIT: Damn, totally forgot Biggies albums. Both are classics.... and Reasonable doubt!! Where to fucking place all them?

1. Nas - Illmatic

2. 2Pac - All Eyez On Me

3. Redman - Whut? Thee Album

There's plenty of others you could switch around, Cuban Links, 36 Chambers, either of BIG's albums, Ice Cube, Big Pun, Masta Ace had a couple albums. The list goes on.

This is way to hard, I'll give you 3 albums that I'd always have in my top 10 from the 90's

Kool G Rap & DJ Polo - Live and Let Die
Wu Tang Clan - Enter The Wu: 36 Chambers
Raekwon - OB4CL
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

Great shout :y:
The title track alone makes that album a classic

I'm gonna throw Pete Rock & CL Smooth - Mecca And Soul Brother, Black Moon - Enta Da Stage, Scarface - Mr. Scarface is Back and Outkast - Southerplayalistic.... up there too - very overlooked albums

I just noticed that Doggystyle, ATLiens and Liquid Swords haven't been mentioned yet, damn hip hop in the 90's was incredible

I disagree.
90's were the best age for hip hop.
