Xzibit - Thank You (Live On Letterman '06)

Postby ThomasJ » Aug 17th, '10, 19:36

NOTE : IF YOU HAVEN'T,LISTEN TO THE ORIGINAL FIRST!
ORIGINAL

LIVE VERSION :

This song is amazing as it is,but when I heard this live Letterman version,I literally cried.
So beautiful...
...The mortician of love, sent from above
Forced entry, the more wenchy, the more stingy I become
Been doing this for more than a quarter century, I'm just numb...

One of the best performances from a rapper I've ever heard.
First time I saw this I teared up a lil bit too.

Same; I was blown away when I first seen this. Impeccable delivery, and one helluva performance!

Yeah,so much emotion... And to do all 3 verses and the chorus is just amazing.

My all-time favorite Xzibit track, and this performance hit me right in the heart. Really epic.

I like the violins etc. on the production. Reminds me of "Paparazzi".

40 Days and 40 Nights is a pure classic. I think if he dropped the macho / robotic vibe and tried an all-out... "Paparazzi"... Strings n deep rap type album he could make a masterpiece. Not that I don't like the robotic shit, he's got such a killer flow but hope he does something epic for his next one.
