Let's say you're mentally retarded, and let's say you thought Relapse was good, but I repeat myself.

I honestly couldn't care less if he is overrated. Even if there's a million emcees better than him, his music is still very good. It's not really the point of this thread anyway.

It's lyrically Eminem's best album.

Rhymes are the only thing that Relapse had. It wasn't half as lyrical you idiot.

My bad,I had a diff. definition of lyrical.
Rhyme-wise and flow-wise,Relapse is Eminem's best album.

Eminem's flow was at an all time high on Relpase - listen to Stay Wide Awake and 3 Am, his flow was unbelievable on that album - stringing words together effortlessly, riding every beat like it was his baby's mama, and he still managed to have perfect clarity, breath control and cadence - if you're hating on Em's flow on Relapse you're clueless.

Lyrically, no it wasn't anywhere near as good as TES, MMLP or SSLP, rhyme wise though, of course it was, but not lyrically - lyrics have substance and a message, thats what Relapse lacked, but these underground rappers I see mentioned on here don't have any substance either - I said it before: you take punchlines away from somebody like Copywrite and what are left with? Nothing, so why critisise Em for having no substance on Relapse and then praise other unknown gimps that are in the exact same boat as him?

Saying that this is a Jay-Z thread and yes he may not be the most talented emcee ever, but he makes better MUSIC than the likes of Diabolic and Copywrite will ever make - this forum's attitude towards mainstream artists is ridiculously close minded to be honest.
