As strange as it sounds, I miss the way things were before Recovery came out. We had Relapse, then Refill, and hype began to build about "Relapse 2." "Drop the World" came out, and I personally went crazy about it. And then for months, silence. I tried to find shit about R2, but it was to no avail, and personally, I was very anxious. Finally, we hear that he is collabarating with B.o.B. on his new album. And then I heard the Airplanes II snippet. Although it was only 12 seconds, I was so souped for the song, and hyped up. I heard that shit when it leaked, and it got me even more excited for Recovery (which was renamed already.)
Airplanes II had me so excited for Recovery, and about a week later, Not Afraid was released. Then there was so much speculation about the album, and nobody really knew what to expect. Now, we have the album, and it's great and all. But still, those days when there were so much hype, I dunno. It just felt like...we had no idea what Em was gonna drop, and it was exciting. I dunno. I kinda miss them times. Personally, the Recovery build up was WAAAAYYY better than the Relapse one. Shiiiittt man. I hope there's this much excitement over his next album.

besides it's really fun to see him wow the world after the Relapse. Idt the next album will have this kind of hype (unless the lead single was better & more successful than NA)
