This has been in my mind for so long. They dont make the same type of music or anything but thier career build-up is almost the same. Yes, they made themselves uberfamous based on controversy. When Eminem ruled the industry around 2000-2002, he taught a generation of kids to give a finger and say "I just don't give a fuck". I was one of'em. And I'm thinkin she might be one too. The Eminem(2000-2002) is like the gaga now. I'm not sayin about who's better or who sucks but askin you people if you can see it. Every time a gaga vid comes out, it drives traffic and whole lot of controversies because of her gay symbol. And Em used to bash gays in his lyrics making thousands of activists mad. Hence, the gay thing is the key to become big. Thats a thing that they both learned. And I know that if they make a song together it wud be like the end of the world.
