My little brother uses one called SNES Station on his PS2, it's pretty good.

No it isn't. This freezes at certain points in different games.

Not in my experience. I have tried them all and ZNES is the best I have come across. Just my Opinion.

Earthbound is a classic game. One of my favorites, by far.

SNES9X was the one I always used. Never gave me any problems, and that was on the PSP port.

Don't waste any time now, because that's all you'll be doing once you start Earthbound. One of the best on SNES, definitely.

I don't really like the battle system, and that's what turns me away.

The game itself is fun. The battles are just ugh in my opinion.

There's like 3 isn't there?

Earthound Zero (Mother): Was prepared for adaptation for the NES, but was scrapped due to the end of life of the console.

Earthbound (Mother 2): Released and loved by all (except Geno).

Earthbound 2 (Mother 3): I believe that this may have been released on the GBA, but I'm not sure. It seems like it was only released in Japan, and there are now fan translation patches for Emulators. Supposed to be a great game.
